 To start playing the game, first push the  button. On the next screen, select a difficulty setting (EASY, NORMAL, HARD or MVS). After you do so, a demonstration animation will play showing you the basics of play. After it finishes, you will be taken to the character select screen where you can choose a fighter and game mode. If you don't want to watch the demonstration, you can skip it by pressing a button. |

Versus Play
During a game, pressing  on the second controller will change the game mode to Versus play. |
