South Town is a place once ruled by a man called Geese Howard.Geese's ambition knew no bounds. He wanted to subjugate the whole world, with South Town as his base of operations.Word of his existence spread throughout the world, and the people came to fear him.

But Geese was reluctant to set out to conquer the world.The reason for this was a man who was pressurizing Geese. This man was an obstacle even to a beacon of self-confidence such as Geese. He sent Geese an intimidating letter, delivered by Geese's own battered henchmen.

This mysterious enemy aimed to claim Geese's throne of the underworld for himself. He obstructed Geese's plans for world domination in secret, making use of a bizarre kind of pressure.But then Geese was defeated by Terry and Andy, Jeff's sons, as if the heavens would not allow both him and the mysterious man to exist at the same time.

Time passed...

Terry was in the training gym as usual, working up a sweat, when he received an invitation to the King of Fighters tournament.

Things happened fast from that moment on. The warriors are still fighting, oblivious of what lies ahead. For each of them, a new battle is about to begin.
