In CALCULATE, you control Donkey Kong Jr. as you grab numbers and symbols in an attempt to complete a sum that is equal to the target answer Donkey Kong shows you. As you grab a symbol (such as + and –) and then a number, the sum will be completed for you automatically. Using the number from the previous answer, you can continue to create sums until you reach the target answer. If you make a mistake, press to reset your answer.

You can’t reset the first number you are given in
CALCULATE B.

You can’t grab two numbers in a row.

If a number can’t be divided evenly, the answer will be
rounded down.

If an answer has more than 5 digits, only the last 4
digits will count.

If you fall in the water you will lose valuable seconds,
during which your opponent will have the playing field to
themselves.
