Suspending Play
On the Virtual Console, you can suspend your game play and continue later.

  • First, press the HOME Button to display the HOME Menu.

  • On the HOME Menu, select Wii Menu to create a suspension point and return to the Wii Menu.

  • To resume playing from the suspension point, select Start on the Wii Menu.

    When you resume playing a suspended game, the suspension point is deleted, so you can't resume your game from that point any longer.
    • About the Suspend Feature
    If you accidentally press RESET or turn off the power on either the Wii console or the Wii Remote, you will lose your Suspend Point. If this happens, you will not be able to recover lost data, so please be careful.
