Starting the Game
Press on the title screen to reach the mode selection screen. Select a game mode with and confirm with .

As you improve on your average score, your rank at the bottom of the title screen will go from B (Beginner) to A (Amateur) to SP (Semi-Pro) to P (Pro).

STROKE PLAY In stroke play, players compete to finish with the lowest stroke count on an 18-hole course. You may select solo play or a multiplayer game by choosing either 1 PLAYER or 2 PLAYER. After you have selected the number of players, please choose a course.
MATCH PLAY In match play, players must compete to win each hole and the player who wins the most holes is the victor. Choose 1 PLAYER to battle the computer, or to play with a friend select 2 PLAYER. Please select the number of players and the course. If you are playing alone, you must also choose an opponent. In order of weakest to strongest, the opponents are Luigi, Steve, Mark, Tony and Billy.
TOURNAMENT In this mode, you can compete in stroke and match play tournaments to win prize money. As your rank increases, the prize values increase accordingly. This mode is one player only.
CLUB HOUSE Choose your clubs, register your name and edit participants for a tournament, review your player stats and hall of fame shots, deposit prize money at the course bank and change game settings.
You can also practise any hole from any course and you can clear all your save data here.
During multiplayer games, each player will need a controller compatible with the Virtual Console. For more information, please refer to the Wii Operations Manual.
