Press on the title screen. When the mode select screen appears, press to choose a game mode (1PLAYER GAME, 2PLAYERS GAME or VS COMP GAME). Press up or down to choose a stage (known as a ROUND) that you want to play. Press left or right to change the FRICTION.

Select 1PLAYER GAME to try a single player game, or 2PLAYERS GAME to take on a friend. (In two-player mode, players will switch if a ball fails to enter a pocket or if the cue ball is knocked into a pocket.) Select VS COMP GAME to test your skills against the computer. When you have selected your settings, press to start the game.
