If you get attacked by an enemy or fall into a river or lava, you will lose one life. Also, if you press  , you will reset the room and lose one life. If you run out of lives, your game will end.
If you press  on the Game Over screen, the title screen will appear. If you choose CONTINUE and press , your game will restart from the last room you were in. If you remember the password displayed on the Game Over screen, you can restart your game from that room even after leaving the game entirely.
