Every time Mega Man defeats a boss, he will be able to use their special weapon. To use the special weapon during the game, press to get to the weapon select screen. Use to select the desired weapon and press again to select it. Each weapon has its own energy meter that will deplete when used, but will be replenished if Mega Man finds Weapon Energy items. Mega Man’s standard weapon has unlimited energy, and does not need replenishing.
