Starting a Match
Select GAME from the title screen, then select a mode with 
and a country by pressing up or down on 
. The ball moves faster in the men’s league than in the women’s league. When you have finalised your settings, press 
to start the game.

In a 1PLAYER match, you will always play as USA. Your computer opponents will be (from weakest to strongest) TUN, KOR, BRA, JPN, CUB, CHN, URS. The flags and names of competing countries are from the time of the original game’s release.
During multiplayer games, each player will need a controller compatible with the Virtual Console. For more information, please refer to the Wii Operations Manual.
