Use the submenu to equip your character for battle, as well as check his status.

Items are not automatically equipped when you buy them, so be sure to equip them as soon as you leave the shop!

Use to navigate the submenu. Press to confirm / equip, and to exit the submenu.

WEAPON	See which weapons you have and change your equipped weapon.
ARMOR	See which armour you have and change your equipped armour. Armour protects you from the brunt of physical attacks.
SHIELD	See which shields you have and change your equipped shield. Shields defend against magic attacks, but only while you are not attacking.
MAGIC	See what magic you have and change your equipped magic. Some magic behaves differently, so test them out before you use them in battle!
ITEM	See which equippable items you have and change your equipped item. You can carry up to nine items at once, including keys.
PLAYER	See your player’s rank, current equipment and important items.
