7 Basic Information

Basic Information

If you select a title in New Arrivals (→P.9) or Find Titles for You (→P.10), the Title Information screen will be displayed. You can see basic information and detailed information (→P.8) for that title.

● Recommendation Ranking Icon
This is displayed for titles that are highly ranked, based on the results of voting in Recommend Titles (→P.12). There are four levels of recommendation ranking, each with a different color icon.

Bronze	Silver	Gold	Platinum

● Wii Shop Channel Button
This closes the Nintendo Channel and switches to the title’s Details screen in the Wii Shop Channel where you can redeem Wii Points to download the title. This button is displayed only in cases where you can download the title in the Wii Shop Channel.

● Add to Favorites Button
Select this button to register a title to your Favorites list (→P.14). You can see all of your Favorites in Records.

● ESRB Rating

The ESRB is a nonprofit, self-regulatory body that independently assigns ratings and enforces advertising guidelines for the interactive entertainment software industry.

EARLY CHILDHOOD

Titles rated EC (Early Childhood) have content that may be suitable for ages 3 and older. Contains no material that parents would find inappropriate.

EVERYONE

Titles rated E (Everyone) have content that may be suitable for ages 6 and older. Titles in this category may contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.

EVERYONE 10+

Titles rated E10+ (Everyone 10 and older) have content that may be suitable for ages 10 and older. Titles in this category may contain more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes.

TEEN

Titles rated T (Teen) have content that may be suitable for ages 13 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling, and/or infrequent use of strong language.

MATURE

Titles rated M (Mature) have content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.

Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection

This is a service that allows you to play specially designed games over the Internet.

Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection Pay & Play

An aspect of the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service that requires users to pay a fee in order to access certain content.

You can play using a Mii™, a caricature you create by combining different facial parts. For details, please see the Mii Channel section of the Wii Operations Manual.

Wireless Play (DS)

This game supports multiplayer and/or lets you exchange data with others via wireless communications. You will need a Nintendo DS system and Game Card for each person playing.

Download Play (DS)

You can share a game from your DS Game Card to another Nintendo DS system via wireless communications.

This is a series of titles that anyone can pick up and play, even with little or no experience with video games.
