Press on the map screen to display the Samus screen, where you can see your current items. Press to arm or disarm an item.

RESERVE TANK	This is your reserve energy supply. Select MODE and press to change the reserve supply mode. If set to AUTO, your reserve tanks will automatically replenish your energy when it reaches zero. If set to MANUAL, you will have to highlight RESERVE TANK with the cursor and press to replenish your tanks.

CHARGE	Allows you to charge up your beam shot.
ICE	Enemies hit with your beam will freeze in their tracks.
WAVE	Your beam moves in a wave form, passing through obstacles.
SPAZER	Your beam will fire three shots at once.
PLASMA	This powerful beam can pierce multiple enemies.

VARIA SUIT	This suit cuts damage taken from enemies in half and allows you to explore high-temperature zones.
GRAVITY SUIT	This suit cuts damage taken from enemies to 25% and allows you to move freely in liquid. It also makes you immune to damage from lava.

MORPHING BALL	This item allows you to activate Morphing Ball Mode.
BOMB	This item allows you to drop bombs while in Morphing Ball mode.
SPRING BALL	This item allows you to jump while in Morphing Ball mode.
SCREW ATTACK	While jumping, this item allows you to somersault into enemies and blast them out of the air.

HI-JUMP BOOTS	These boots increase your jump ability.
SPACE JUMP	These boots allow you to jump while in the air.
SPEED BOOSTER	These boots allow you to run at a super-high speed.
