At the title screen, press to choose between STEREO and MONO sound settings. Then press or to display the mode selection screen and select the game mode you want to play. Press or again to confirm your choice and begin the game.

1P NORMAL MODE	A mode for one player in which the goal is to clear the falling blocks and ghosts to score as many points as possible. The game begins once you’ve selected a difficulty setting (EASY, NORMAL, HARD or HYPER) on the next screen.
1P PUZZLE MODE	In this mode, you must clear all the Ghosts with only a set number of Pacs (Pac-Man). Select START to begin from stage 1, or choose PASSWORD to enter a password and continue from any previously played stage. To enter a password, use to select letters, to enter them and to go back a letter. Use to return to the mode selection screen.
2P VERSUS MODE	A two-player battle mode similar to the normal mode. The game begins once both players have selected a difficulty setting (LOW, MIDDLE or HIGH) on the next screen.
