Weapon and item boxes can appear after defeating certain enemies or destroying certain scenery, and occasionally a box marked with a question mark will appear. Shoot at weapon boxes to change your gun and shoot at item boxes to obtain the item.

Weapons

Shot Gun	Successive shots are not as fast as with other guns, but the spread of the shot can do damage to many enemies at once. Shoot the weapon box labeled with “S” to obtain this weapon.
Machine Gun	This gun can fire shots in rapid succession, but its destructive power is about the same as the normal gun. Shoot the weapon box labeled with “M” to obtain this weapon.
Grenade Gun	The firing speed is slow, but the big explosion will damage any enemy it touches. Shoot the weapon box labeled with “G” to obtain this weapon.
Pop Gun	The pop gun is contained in one of the ? boxes. This weapon is ineffective so hope you don’t get it!
Vulcan Gun	Definitely the most awesome weapon. Every time you hit one of the enemy’s bullets with your weapon, the gauge will fill. Once the gauge has turned completely green, you will be awarded a vulcan gun. However you only have a limited amount of time to use the vulcan gun as the green gauge will gradually decrease until depleted. At this point, you will get your old weapon back. While you are using the vulcan gun, you are invincible.

Items

Gold Sack	500 points.
Silver Rock	1,000 points.
Blue Rock	1,500 points.
Red Rock	5,000 points.
Random Rock	1,000, 1,500 or 5,000 points, depending on the timing of your shot.
Bomb	These are precious. Using one of these will damage all the enemies on the screen. You can’t have more than five bombs at any one time.
