 In Space Year 6216, the Interplanetary Monetary System has collapsed, causing all the planets to become panic-stricken. Some knavish leader is using the Menon Planet Forces to steal foreign money to construct a huge fortress in Fantasy Zone. To put an end to their ambitious plans, our hero Opa-Opa will fight against a host of mean and mischievous creatures to save the Fantasy Zone.
When the Title Screen is displayed, press  ( for Classic Controller) from Player 1’s controller to start a single-player game, or press the same button from Player 2’s controller to start an alternating two-player game. Once you have played the game, the high scores will be displayed on the top of the screen (1UP: Player 1’s score / 2UP: Player 2's score).
