 10 years has passed since OPA-OPA annihilated the invading enemy and restored peace to the Fantasy Zone. Now history is repeating itself and a group of Blackhearts have joined forces to take over today's Fantasy Zone. OPA-OPA must once again defend the city gates and save his crazy kaleidoscope of creatures from the brink of disaster.
When the Title Screen is displayed, press  or  ( or  for Classic Controller) to start the game. After you have played the game once, the high score will be displayed on the Title Screen.
