 The SHOP screen will be displayed when you touch the SHOP Cloud that appears somewhere in each Round. Navigate the cursor with  to select an item, and press  or  ( or  for Classic Controller) to purchase it. To exit the SHOP and proceed to the PARTS SELECT screen, select the EXIT panel and confirm the selection.
Items found in the SHOP are as follows:
LASER BEAM:
Shoot the equivalent of 16 bullets per second for a limited time.
WIDE BEAM:
Shoot a wide powerful beam for a limited time.
BIG SHOT:
Shoot with twice the power of TWIN SHOT.
3-WAY SHOT:
Shoot in three directions simultaneously for a limited time.
7-WAY SHOT:
Shoot in seven directions simultaneously for a limited time.
FIREBALL:
Shoot fireballs that annihilate enemies in a single blast for a limited time.
TWIN BOMBS:
Drop two BOMBS in succession.
BIG BOMB:
Drop a single BOMB with the power of two.
TWIN BIG BOMBS:
Drop two BIG BOMBS in succession.
SMART BOMB:
Destroy all enemies (one time only).
FIRE BOMB:
Destroy all enemies in a line with one blast (one time only).
HEAVY BOMB:
Drop a single massive BOMB from the sky (one time only).
BIG WINGS:
Increase speed slightly.
NORMAL ENGINE:
Increase speed.
JET ENGINE:
Increase speed considerably.
TURBO ENGINE:
Increase speed dramatically.
ROCKET ENGINE:
Increase speed drastically.
CONTINUE GAME:
An opportunity to carry on the game if you lose all your ships.
EXTRA SHIP:
An extra attempt to complete the game.
AUTO BEAM:
Gain a rapid fire gun.
SHIELD:
Create an impenetrable barrier around you.
RED BOTTLE:
Increase the POWER Meter by one bar.
BLUE BOTTLE:
Replenish the POWER Meter.
Note: Although you are able to stock up on as many parts as you can afford, only one part per type can be purchased in a single visit to the SHOP.
