Each player character has a normal weapon (which can be shot in 8 directions) and a Special Weapon.
The left icon under the character face indicates the kind of Special Weapon. The right icon indicates the description (H=High places; L=Low places; M=Magic). The arrows on the right icon indicate the direction you can attack with the Special Weapon.
The effectiveness of the normal weapon and running speed vary with the character. It's very important to make the right selection according to the situation. |
