 Press  to call up the System Menu while your party is not in a labyrinth or a combat. Use  up or down to select one of the following options.
SAVE: Save the game in the exact location you are currently standing (See next page for details).
MESSAGE: Choose the speed at which messages appear on screen. Number 1 is the fastest, and 5 is the slowest.
BTL SPD: Choose the speed of the messages displayed during battle, 1 being the fastest and 5 being the slowest.
BUTTONS: Choose a different button assignment for your controller. Note that A, B, and C are the buttons for the SEGA MEGA DRIVE.
