Control Yoshi as he advances through the course. You can swallow enemies and turn them into eggs, jump on them, or use a ground pound or egg throw to defeat them. Swallow 30 pieces of fruit to clear a course and advance to the next page. Clear the final course to win the game.

Smile Meter Petals

The number of petals on your Smile Meter increases when you swallow fruit or enemies, and decreases when you touch an enemy or when Yoshi swallows something that does not agree with him.

Losing Yoshis and Game Over

You will lose a Yoshi whenever you are hit after having lost all of your petals, you fall into a pit, or are eaten by a monster. If you lose all of your Yoshis, your game will end.
