Link can perform the moves explained here when he is not wearing a mask. When Link puts on a mask and assumes special new abilities, the controls may change.

Walk / Run	Tilt slightly to walk and fully to run. Use while holding to move while facing the same direction.
Jump	If you run towards the edge of a platform or cliff, you will automatically jump in the direction you are running. Holding up on when jumping from a height will make you roll when you land. If you do not roll, you will take damage from the fall.
Swim	Tilt while on the surface of the water to swim. Press and hold to dive.
Go Up or Down Ladders, Steps, Blocks	Tilt while facing a ladder to climb up or down it. Depending on the height of a block or step, you may also be able to tilt to climb it.

Drop	Press while hanging from a ladder or cliff to drop.
Grab	Approach a block or stone statue and press to grab it. Tilt while holding to push or pull it.
Lift	Press when you are close to an object to lift it.
Throw	Press while holding an object to throw it. Note: You must tilt and press to throw certain items.
Throw / Place a Bomb	To throw a bomb, tilt to run and press to throw. To place a bomb at your feet, press while standing still.
Open	Press while standing in front of a chest or door to open it.
Speak	Press while standing in front of a person to speak to him / her. If you use to target, you can talk to someone farther away.
Check	Press when you are in front of a sign to read it.
