Press during a match to display the pause screen, where you can check your current score, check the RULES or CONTROLS, or SAVE the game (the exact contents of the pause screen will vary depending on the mode).

Note: You cannot pause the game during a rally (hitting the ball back and forth) in all modes except Piranha Challenge Mode.
