Press at the title screen to start the game. Press on the 2P controller at the title screen or at any time during gameplay to start a two-player game. (1P plays as "Dr. Tomari". 2P plays as "Felix".) When your ship is destroyed, it's GAME OVER. Press within the time limit to restart at the beginning of the last round played. You can continue up to five times in a one-player game (four times for a two-player game). During multiplayer games, each player will need a controller compatible with the Virtual Console.
