Suspending Play
On the Virtual Console, you can suspend your progress and continue later.
First, press to display the HOME Menu.
On the HOME Menu, select Wii Menu. A Suspend Point will be created, and you will return to the Wii Menu.
To resume playing from the Suspend Point, select Start on this game's Channel Preview screen.
* When you resume a suspended game, the Suspend Point will be deleted, so you will not be able to resume your game from that point again.
If you press RESET or turn off the power on either the Wii console or the Wii Remote while creating a Suspend Point, you will lose your Suspend Point. If this happens, you will not be able to recover lost data, so please be careful during this process.
