Press and hold ⇩ while in the air to stamp down. If you stamp on an enemy, you will deal damage to it. Defeated enemies will turn into life pellets or balls. Touch a life pellet to restore some life points. Stand in front of a ball and press to pick it up, then press again to throw it.

Each character can learn a special attack by picking up a certain item. Hold down until a heart floats above your character, then press again to use the special attack.

Bosses and amnesiac friends await you in certain rooms. Use your wits and all of your attacks to defeat them!
