When you own a rod and purchase some bait in the Item Shop, you can fish in certain areas. Cast by pressing . Move the bait with . When you get a bite, press at the right time to reel in. You can also reel in your bait by pressing . If your line snaps, you lose your current bait.

Bow, Katt: Hunting	Lets you hunt in the fields. The hunting areas appear as waving bushes in the landscape.
Rand: Spin Dash	Lets you roll quickly, and knock down certain walls.
Nina: Air Floating	Lets you escape from traps.
Katt: Bo Strike	Lets you break rocks.
Sten: Arm Stretch	Lets you cross cliffs.
Jean: Frog Transformation	Lets you leap over gaps and cliffs, and swim across rivers.
Spar: Forest Walk	Lets you walk through forests.
