Utilising Obstacles

Amongst the enemies and obstacles you will come across, you will be able to utilise some by riding them, using them to perform wall kicks etc. There are also some areas which you can only reach by doing so.

Special Weapons

Special weapons’ effects and charge shots may have different results depending on where X is, the number of enemies or obstacles around and how you use it. For example, when you fire the MAGNET.M, you can control the direction of the shot with

and use it to set traps on floors and walls. When you are stuck or suspect there may be something hidden, try using the special weapons in various different ways.

Using the
Mobile Attack Armour

Whilst using the Jet Pack in mid-air, if you press

and

together and dismount, you will be able to jump higher to places you ordinarily could not reach.

Maverick Reploid’s Aim

In the 8 stages, you will have the chance of fighting the Maverick Reploids leaders after you defeat some of the stage bosses. If you manage to find and defeat them, you may cause changes in the story development.
