Items and Magic
In addition to armaments, a variety of different items and magic spells are available. Some will make your quest easier, while others play a key role in your progression.


Transfer:
Automatically sends you to the last Church visited. Not effective in certain areas.

Magic Hat:
Helps you to understand the language of certain monsters.

Escaper:
Grants temporary invisibility, for a chance to escape combat.

Cola:
Restores your HP by 10 points.

Burger:
Restores your HP by 40 points.

Polymeteral:
Melts all materials except for Laconia. Best used on junk.

Dungeon Key:
Opens locked dungeon doors (unlimited use).

Sphere:
Helps you to understand your enemies. More effective than the Magic Hat.

Hapsby:
A Laconian robot. Operates the Luveno, if you can find him...

Miracle Key:
Opens basic and magical locked doors.

Road Pass:
Allows use of the Roadways.

Passport:
Allows interplanetary travel.

Compass:
Helps you navigate certain forests.

Laconian Pot:
Purpose Unknown. Better to keep hold of it for the time being.

Flash:
Light up dark areas (one use only).

Magic Lamp:
Light up dark areas (unlimited use).

Gas Shield:
Allows you to cross the Poison Fields.

Flute:
Allows you to escape dungeons (unlimited use).

Prism:
Takes you where no spaceship can.

Torch:
Lights up as bright as the midday sun.

Landrover:
Moves you rapidly across the surface of planets.

Hovercraft:
Moves you across water.

Ice Digger:
Bores through certain ice mountains with ease.


Heal:
Restores 20 HP.

Cure:
Restores more HP than Heal.

Wall:
Create an invisible protective wall around the party.

Protect:
Create an invisible protective wall around the party. Also defends against enemies' Magic.

Fire:
Attacks enemies with fireballs.

Wind:
Attacks enemies with tornado like winds.

Thunder:
Attacks enemies with jagged bolts of lightning.

Rope:
Ties up enemies so they are vulnerable to attack.

Bye:
Party has a chance to retreat from battle.

Help:
Gives a party member a temporary burst of strength to fight a tough enemy.

Terrify:
Makes weaker enemies afraid of you.

Trap:
Disarms traps in treasure chests and dungeons.

Exit:
Allows you to immediately exit dungeons, caves and towers.

Fly:
Returns you to the last Church you visited.

Open:
Opens doors sealed with Magic.

Rise:
Resurrects a member of your party without visiting a Church.

Chat:
Allows you to understand some enemies' languages.

Telepathy:
Allows you to talk with certain enemies.
