Special Weapons and Magical Spells can either be bought at the shop (see page 7) or found as items dropped by enemies. To use a Special Weapon/Magical Spell, press down. Note that you cannot choose which to use from the weapons/spells in possession. The weapon/spell you obtained most recently will be used, and when it runs out the next weapon/spell will be selected automatically. The current weapon/spell in use (along with the number in stock) will be displayed at the top right of the screen. If none are in possession, a sword icon will be displayed here.
