You can pick up weapons that either enemies have dropped or that can be found inside breakable objects in the streets. When you see a weapon you’d like to use, move your fighter over it and press the Attack button to grab the item.

Once the weapon is in your fighter’s hand, take advantage of it by simply pressing the Attack button. Note that taking a hit will force you to drop the weapon.
