As you embark on your quest, you will find yourself in one of three main game environments as detailed below.

 Towns and Villages
Gather information from townsfolk, and purchase weapons and items at the shops. Walk up to the townsfolk (or the clerk at the shop) and press  ( for Classic Controller) to talk. The information you gather may trigger events that progress the story. Some towns have an adjacent castle.

 Wilderness and Dungeons
Journey through various worlds and dungeons to complete tasks and discover new destinations. You’ll start out by yourself and the areas you can travel will be limited at first. But as the time progresses, you’ll be joined by new members, and the areas you can travel to will increase. You will also encounter monsters which you must defeat.

 Battle Mode
Upon your journey, you will often be confronted by enemies. Defeat them to gain Experience and Meseta (currency). |
