 The TRX-5 Quasar is equipped with a medium-intensity laser SHOT that can be fired repeatedly. However, one SHOT may not be enough to take out an enemy, so fire relentlessly and stay on the move to avoid damage to your SHIELD. The TRX-5 Quasar can also fire MISSILES. Use your sight to lock-on to as many targets as possible, and let the MISSILES fly! Under normal conditions you can fire as many as four MISSILES at a time.
The TRX-Lifesaver craft appears occasionally to deliver a supply of Power-Up MISSILES. You get 60 MISSILES each time the TRX-Lifesaver appears, and you can fire as many as six MISSILES at a time!
You begin with a fully-operational SHIELD, which deteriorates as you take hits from enemies. The SHIELD Display in the lower left corner of your screen changes colour (Blue, Yellow and finally Red) as the effectiveness of your SHIELD wears off. Your flying ability will be put to the test when you lose your SHIELD, as each hit from the enemy does severe damage to your ENERGY. |
