On the world map screen, select a level (star) and then, on the stage select screen, select a stage to start the game. In each stage you must defeat enemies and try to collect Crystal Shards to advance. If you run out of health or fall into a pit, you will lose one Kirby. Once your stock of remaining Kirbys falls to zero, the game is over.
