You can access the unit management screen by selecting ORGANIZE SCREEN from the various game menus. Press to display the unit management menu. Here you can reorganise your units and legions, and equip characters with items / weapons to ready them for battle.

Press to check the status of your units. While checking unit status, press to check the status of individual characters. Your characters will level up and get stronger based on experience gained in battles or training.
For explanations on each piece of information on a character’s status screen, press to display the Help icon, then press to display the explanation.

As you progress through the game, you will be able to take command of legions, which consist of multiple units. When engaging in combat, the battle is fought on a unit basis. However, the soldiers from the Legion Core (the unit containing the legion’s leader) will join the battle to support you.

Each character is assigned a class, which determines factors such as stats and equippable weapons, armour and accessories. Depending on the class, you can advance your characters based on stats, alignment and items in the inventory. If you don’t own the required items and have enough Goth to buy them, they will be bought automatically during the class upgrade. Some special items cannot be bought normally and must be found before the class upgrade can occur.

Class changing is usually carried out from the unit management screen, although some class changes occur automatically.
