Press to call up the System Menu while your party is not in a labyrinth or combat. Use up or down to select one of the following options.
SAVE
Save the game in the exact location you are currently standing. (See next page for details)
MESSAGE
Choose the speed at which messages appear on screen. Number 1 is the fastest, and 5 is the slowest.
BTL SPD
Choose the speed of the messages displayed during battle – 1 being the fastest, and 5 being the slowest.
BUTTONS
Choose a different button assignment for your controller. Note that A, B, and C are the buttons for the SEGA GENESIS.
